Duxfest 25 is coming!
Carnival fever builds as Duxfest approaches….
Excitement is building at Duxfest Towers as we as we count down to Saturday 12 July. If our new logo didn’t give it away, this year’s theme is Carnival – and we’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate in style.
We’re thrilled to announce a fantastic ska band as our headliners, and a sizzling salsa band with supporting dancer bringing high-energy rhythms to get everyone dancing. They’ll be joined by performers covering calypso, reggae, and samba beats. Of course, we’ll also be showcasing the amazing talent from Duxford Saturday Workshop.
On the food front, festival favourites like the Duxford Hog Roast Company, Ocean Tree Fish & Chips, and Saffron Ice Cream are back. And we’re excited to welcome some delicious new additions – The Wandering Yak and Aunty Pam’s Kitchen.
Thirsty? Mario from The Plough will be running the bar with his brilliant team, while Luke and the crew from The Lodge will be shaking up cocktails all day long.
There’s loads of family fun in store too! Mallyons fairground rides will be on, plus there’s a bouncy castle and a flight simulator for the kids, and other exciting activities to enjoy. You’ll also find a variety of stalls selling crafts and unique goodies to browse throughout the day.
No Duxfest would be complete without our superb raffle – always a highlight! so be sure to bring your pounds and pennies on the day.
